Experience
Growing up in a small town in New Jersey, Charles Licastro learned from a young age the importance of family and community. He came from a long line of builders and masons and was exposed to this profession since birth. It can be said that he was born with a love for construction and masonry in his genes and his family and community nurtured that natural affinity into the incredible career Charles has today.
During high school, Charles Licastro attended a work-study program where he was mentored by his woodshop teacher. His teacher took Charles under his wing and taught him the basics of what would eventually become a lifelong career and dedication to helping others through home improvement. Charles later attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. While studying for his degree, Mr. Licastro opened his own business and undertook small contracts in the community around him.
Charles Licastro was exposed to more knowledge as a child and young adult than most home improvement experts learn in a lifetime. Many in his family and community were in the construction business or a related field, and Charles grew up helping and learning about all aspects of the industry. When he started his business, this knowledge became the strong foundation through which he grew his company. Charles first ran his company from his parents’ house, later a small shop, and ultimately a large showroom. Mr. Licastro not only had the exceptional skills needed to remodel and improve homes but also possessed the business savvy required to expand his business.
Over 44 years later, Charles Licastro is still running the same company and relishes being able to help others through the work he and his employees undertake to improve homes. Charles and his company have diligently served their community and, as such, he has been accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and continue to be highly sought out for their kitchen designs.
Before earning his degree, Charles Licastro already had experience in building, contracting, cabinet manufacturing, countertops, kitchen & bath, planning, plumbing, lighting, foundations, permits, and inspections to name only a few. Charles completely remodeled his own home from the inside out and designed his second home on the Jersey Shore. Mr. Licastro possesses a well-earned reputation for helping others and getting the job done well the first time.
Outside of work, Charles Licastro spends time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He looks forward to each summer when the family takes a summer vacation to Florida to spend quality time together. Furthermore, he enjoys exploring the great outdoors, boating, and fishing in his spare time. Mr. Licastro comes from a long line of experts in the home improvement industry and never ceases to continue the legacy of top-quality work with a focus on community engagement and assistance.
Testimonials
“After going through the destruction of Hurricane Sandy, we were faced with having to rehab every room in our home. The customer service and support from Ace Kitchens and Bath[s] was incomparable to any other. Their product lines range from high end to affordable. They took the time to guide us through the process, offer unbelievable design support, educate us on the various qualities and options available and install the kitchen and counter tops quicker than promised. I can not be more pleased with the final outcome of our new and improved kitchen. It is everything I have ever dreamed it would be and more. From beginning to end Ace Kitchens & Bath made our unexpectedly bad situation extremely exciting and happy.” — Arlene Rudo, Google Reviews
